THE BOOK BEGINS

The Desiderata.......... _____________________________________________ AF
The book, the updated Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, and Hindu BIBLE
will be known as Nova Biblia

Leading off with ' Desiderata ' by Max Ehren, A Jewish thinker, writer

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace
there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious
to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will
be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your
own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full
of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham,
drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

The Glass Bead Game by Hermann Hesse,

We re-enact with reverent attention
The universal chord, the masters’ harmony,
Evoking in unsullied communion
Minds and times of highest sanctity.

We draw upon the iconography
Whose mystery is able to contain Give chaos form, and hold our lives in rein.

The patterns sing like crystal constellations,
And when we tell our beads, we serve the whole,
And cannot be dislodged or misdirected,
Held in the orbit of the Cosmic Soul.

Einstein on Buddhism
“The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God
and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be
based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as
a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope
with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism.

Popular Misconceptions about Religion

Excerpts from the amazing ZenRaven

From 'Dharmakaya', from the book "Eyes To The Stars"

"In truth, you are the result of, the manifestation of a remarkable
consortia of exotic spiritual energies. Within these divine energies
are the blueprint for the human form you see about you. We are in
essence, spiritual. Without these miraculous energies, you would not even be......... "

Hindusism is the world's oldest religion. It has no beginning.
It predates and preceeds all of recorded history. It has no human founder.
It is a mystical religion, leading the devotee to personally experience the
Truth within, finally reaching the pinnacle of consciousness where man and God are one.

Sai Baba's Commentary on the Gayatri Mantra

Study Krishnamurti, the man, through his books, mainly ' Think On These Things '

Truth is a pathless land. Man cannot come to it through any organisation, through any creed,
through any dogma, priest or ritual, nor through any philosophic knowledge or psychological
technique. He has to find it through the mirror of relationship, through the understanding of the
contents of his own mind, through observation and not through intellectual analysis or introspective dissection.

From 'Introspections, from the Book, "Eyes To The Stars", by ZenRaven, aka Dew

Zen is the flower taken from the garden
replanted in the desert, smiling nonetheless
Zen is the yellow in blue, the red in purple, the green in black
The aria in the grand finale,
The specific in the whole, the power in the precisons
The glance in the stare
The adagio in the vivace, the whisper inside the shout
